    Merging multiple workbooks

I have a series of duplicate workbooks to allow for distribution to multiple users. The workbooks have a userform which allows the user to save records into a worksheet. I would like to have a standalone workbook which is a merge of all of the worksheets.

Since data will be contiuosly entered, I want the master workbook to have a "constant" link and alway but current without need to run anything.

Please advise on the best way to do this.

    Thank you

    Re: Merging multiple workbooks

You can't really have it constantl updating. I have posted several examples of merging workbooks, if you use the forum search.

The best way would be to run the merge on opening the workbook, then have a button to run it whenevr you require
    Hope that helps.

    Hi jcarstens
You could have the merge run on a timer such that it updates every so many minutes. However, I don't know what kind of problems you'll run into if one of your source files is being updated by a user at the same time the merge runs.
