    Excel crash on userform show

    Hello everybody

I've searched this forum for a solution to my problem but couldn't find it. My excel file triggers excel to crash after clicking the only button on my worksheet. The button displays a userform.

However; this does not always happen. It actually drives me crazy as I don't find the solution to my problem. My company were I work upgraded my Excel 2003 SP2 to Excel 2003 SP3 which seemed to help but now the same problem returned...

I found a temporarily workaround though; when saving the file first (right after I opened it) it doesn’t crash when showing the userform. Very strange (to me).

    Thank you for your help!

    Here is my file:

PS: I thought some RefEdit reference (althought there is no RefEdit control on any userform) might have been the problem; but after deleting any reference to it I still have this problem. Which is killing me by now.....

Re: Excel crash on userform show

Thanks RoyUK for your effort. The VBA password on the file is: MJmoon58
And the Sheet protection password is: VBA

I deleted the protection on the first published file as it is indeed not very smart to post a file with protection. However, after removing the protection, there's doesn't seem to be a problem. That's why uploaded the file WITH protection now. (and the passwords)

    thx

Re: Excel crash on userform show

I updated the file; this one definitly crashes (first post above) ... I would really like to know why. After simply saving it (in excel, push the diskette); there seems to be no problem at all. So please; first click on the button and you'll see it crash. Then re-open; save it and try again: no crash! ?!?

Please help me, some one hundred (commercial) people are using this...
    Thanks in advance!!!
