macro built with Office 2003 not working on Office 2007

hi,
I use office 2007 enterprise with vista
when I open an Excel file with macros that were built with Office 2003, these do not work properly, they are not synchronized.
why? What can I do to display them properly?

I tried to install Office 2003 with a vista, but after downloading all updates, do not work (error 1004). However if I use the same Office 2003 with XP, they work.

help me plase.

We can't say wwithout seeing the code. Most VBA code should run OK with both versions. There are some exceptions. FileSearch will not work, any file extensions used in the codeneed to match the version.

might also be worth outlining what the error message is - could also be caused by missing libraries (controls used) etc...
