Simpler way to browse multiple files

    Hey people,

Need some help with browsing for files, take a look at the picture attached otherwise be super hard to explain.

That done, you can see that I have 2 attachments, 1 & 2 and you can see there path on the computer.

Next to these on the right 2 buttons, attachment 1 & 2 gain, when clicked they browse for any file on the computer and then place its path as text in the correct cell. Its in turn on another sheet used to attach those files to email messages.

So attachment 1 & 2 buttons work for C2 and D2 but thats because they are specificly coded like that, and as you can see from the image I have 30 rows so thats 60 buttons, as u can guess I don't want to code each one individually.

So what Im looking for is a way to say assign those buttons to a cell, so when you browse it refers to that cell and places the path in it, without having to code 60 buttons.

Sorry if I'm not explaining it very well but hopefully you get my jist.

Any help is really appreciated anyway! Thanks!

To best describe or illustrate your problem you would be better off attaching a dummy workbook, the workbook should contain the same structure and some dummy data of the same type as the type you have in your real workbook - so, if a cell contains numbers & letters in this format abc-123 then that should be reflected in the dummy workbook.

If needed supply a before and after sheet in the workbook so the person helping you can see what you are trying to achieve.

Doing this will ensure you get the result you need!
    Hope that helps.

Re: Simpler way to browse multiple files

Ok sure I'll attach the book I am working on:

*I attached it in 2007 format and 97-2003 just incase, and to get into the spreadsheet you need to select the user: Administrator and Pass: admin

If you take a look at the sheet named 'Students' there is 60 buttons.

The ones in row 2 (first ones from the top) are working so if you click 'Attachment 1' then you get a file dialog browse box and upon selecting any file, its path is put into cell [C2] and 'Attachment 2' corresponds to [D2] placing a files pathname in that cell when selected.

I am just looking for an easy way to code this so that its not the same code 60 times with different cell references (which if it comes down to it, i'm going to have to do)

Hopefully its a little more clear now :D
