Looking up and analysing duplicate data

    Hi,

I have a spreadsheet with around 35000 rows. The spreadsheet is a log of parts which I have been testing, so each row represents a test carried out.

There can be multiple tests carried out on one part, so column B - 'ID' will have duplicates. The number beside these duplicates in column A - 'Fail Code' should not vary (shown in the cells highlighted in orange in the example), which means there have been three tests carried out, all with the same results.

I need excel to identify the ID's where the results (i.e. fail code) varies. (shown in the cells highlighted in yellow in the example) Is there any way that I can get excel to look up and pull out any duplicate entries where the failcode varies?

    Thanks,
    Jonny

Now just filter column C for 'Varies'

Note:Assumes the data is sorted by ID
