Trying to make a multidimensional array that is (672, 672, 672) big but excel keeps giving me an error about being out of memory. The .xlsm file is only 8 megs big. When i open windows taskmanager it shows excel using 131 megs of ram. Im using excel 2007 and my computer has 2 gigs of ram and i upped the virtual memory to 4 gigs. Taskmanager saids im only using 600 megs of ram. I still should have lots left. Any suggestions?

Ive tried both Long and Integer. Is there another one i should try?
Even as an Integer, it requires 606MB of RAM. I was unable to dimension an array larger than about 250MB on my laptop (2GB RAM).
Any idea if the limits will be raised in 2010 Office?
Perhaps there could be another way of doing whatever you are attempting to do? That array is huge.
