    Smile using for-loop to name ranges

    Here's the question from my teacher:


    1. insert a new procedure and put this code into a for loop:

    2. declare any necessary variables first

    3. you should have only 1 for loop. This loop contains 1 line of code


    I would appreciate help on this, the problems i am having is
    a) doing this with only 1 for loop
    b) creating something to loop the "stock#" range names

    We're not big of doing homework - kind of defeats the purpose in the first instance, however, in general terms:

    of course you might want to then read up on Variable types to understand why for ex. we may opt to use Byte... also on Resize property as this will not be expected... if you wish to use Range approach then by all means adapt per your homework requirement...

    Thanks, i will def read up on variable types! and just so u know it wasn't homework, it was from a lab session that we are doing to learn VBA. so i really appreciate the help at this beginners stage...
