Workbook Save/Reset options ?

I have an Excel 2007 Workbook that has a variety of different reports. I知 trying to find a way that will allow me to reset reports back to original setting after the report has been completed. Sometimes a report may take a couple days to complete, so closing and saving is a must. Any thoughts how I may achieve this.
