    Hi friends

We will write id number to yellow area.

When we write value to yellow area, the formule in black are will look column of " d ".

If it is " machinery" or " with lifting point " , the formule will search only according to id number.

If it is " lifting gear ", the formule will search according to id number and capacity simultaneously. And the value will be come up in black area from column of "a".

If there is no id number in data sheet, " no certificate no" will come up im black area.

    Re: Searching

    Hi,

Can you be more explicit when you say for lifting gear you search according to 'ID and capacity simultaneously'. Can you give an example? Are you for instance entering say GR25 in D18? And the follow on question is if so, do you need to since in the example all the lifting gear IDs are unique irrespective of the capacity?

    Re: Searching

    For example;

We have a material. We want to learn certificate status of this material at column of " A " in data sheet.

We'll write a formule to black area.

if the material is " Machinery" or " With lifting point ", we will only write a value to yellow area in "searching page". the formule will find certificate status (column of A) using only ID number.

if the material is " Lifting gear " , we'll write a value to yellow and green area in searching page. According to those, the formule will find certificate status (column of A) using ID number and capacity.

    that's all.

    thank you

    regards

    Re: Searching

    Hi,

See attached. You had changed the name of the 'Data Sheet' to 'Data' without also changing the formula I gave you. In addition you hadn't copied G2 down to G30.

    hi, again

You had'nt use column of C at formule.

If there is same ID number for different capacities. For lifting gear, we will enter "ID number" and " capacity"

The formule must use column of " ID number" and " capacity"

When we enter value to cell of ID Number, If There is not value in "page sheet", " certificate no" must be come up.

    thank you
