Save Function and Add-In Bar with mutiple buttons

Problem 1: I am using a save function so that when the user puts their name in and other information, it creates a header and footer on the excel sheets and then they have the option to save the file with the right file name for the class. This all works, but when I try to open the file I get a critical error and excel2007 has to restart.

The thing is, if excel is already open, I can open the file without any problems, all information is saved properly

Problem 2: I have an add-in bar that displays two buttons, for two different macros, but the buttons are side by side, making the bar rather long. How do I tell the second button to go below the first so they form a column of button instead of a row
