    Select entire range A6:AE7

then go to Home tab >> Conditional Formatting >> New Rule

Select use a formula to determine which cells to format

    enter formula:
    =WEEKDAY(A$6)=1

click Format and choose from the Fill menu.
Where there is a will there are many ways.
