    AppleScript - Unprotect, Sort, Protect.

    Hi all,

I am trying to sort a protected sheet, as I do not want people editing the formulas in it.
I need to sort from A8:U150 in ascending order.
The sheet as mentioned has to be unlocked, then locked again after the sort.
It needs to work from some sort of button.

Is this possible? I can do this for the Windows version with Vb but I am unsure of how to completed this on a Mac as it does not support macros.

Running Mac Excel 2008 (also have 05 installed but 08 is preferred).

Thanks in advance guys and girls.

Thank you for linking to the cross post.

What I said about posting AppleScript questions in the other forum also applies here.

    AppleScript questions are welcome here.
(Us Mac users need to represent along side those Windows folks with their API library functions. )
