    Calculating relationships in a table

    Hi!

I am trying to convert a raw data input of publications and their writers to an output that summarizes how often the different writes have published articles together. Could anyone please provide any help along the way on how to do that?

Please also find the attached example of a typical input and wanted output format.

    Best,
    Erik

Your example is not very clear.
Why does Ericsson has Actor1, Actor2... listed across on the output side?
Explain how Nokia has 1 under Actor1 and 2 under Actor2.
Even if you don't know the formula and need help, you should be able to write out the logic in words as to how htese output results are derived.
Once the logic is understood, formulas will be easy to create.

    Hi

I have updated the excel file so the logic is hopefully more clear. I basically want two outputs. One is a list of all the actors who have contributed to the publication and two, how often they have collaborated on a publication.

Please let me know if it is still unclear.

    Thanks!
