I have demand data in the form of inter-arrival times (which is the time between orders), but because of the actual amount of data, it is too much manually sort (see attached xls).
I would like to sort the data by number of daily orders. So starting at week 1 (Cell A2), then continuing down the row until the SUM reaches 24 (24 hrs/day), once the sum reaches 24 the count for day 1 is recorded (i.e. how many cells are in the range that sum to 24). Then the program will continue from the next cell until the SUM reaches 24 again, and the count will be recorded for day 2. And so on and so forth. This will allow me to analyze change in demand from the perspective of a daily frequency. I'm have some programming background skills but have never coded an excel macro or VBA, and don't have the time right now to learn it. Whoever takes the time out to help me I am willing to send atleast a $10 donation via PayPal.
Due to the size of the file, I uploaded the first 5 weeks of data I have. I have a total of 2 years worth of data so doing that manually would take a very long time.
Feel free to PM me or post for more info.
Thanks for your help!
