I'm writing a macro that runs when the excel file closes. It saves the file as a .prn and then uploads it to the mainframe. My major issue comes in two phases:
Phase 1:
I would like the macro to be able to tell if the file that is currently being closed has been checked out or not and run the macro if it has. If it has not then I must be in read-only mode so don't run the macro.
Phase2:
It seems that when the macro does run it doesn't check the excel file back in. is there some vba that I can use to check a file in?
