    Named Range Template

I am currently working on a template that uses named ranges and to create dynamic lists. The dynamic lists are on the first sheet in the workbook and the named ranges are on the second. This works fine and dandy for this template, but once this template is perfected, I plan to make many more that are practically identical, except with different values in the named ranges.

So, I guess my question is...what would be the easiest way to go about making a template for my templates?

Think it kinda depends on the details of what you're doing and the nature of your changes, Amy.

    Re: Named Range Template

Okay, well, I don't know if this will help, but I've attached a very rough example of my template. (It looks bad right now.) Also, don't worry about the updating links thing...that just links to a file that is completely unrelated to what I am doing here, so it won't effect anything to not update.

The only things I would need to change are the values on the DataLists sheet, which I could reformat to make it easier to change the named ranges in the future, this is just how I have it right now.

Right now the names of the named ranges are specific to this data, but I assume that will have to change to a more universal setup, like instead of being naming F2-F10 "Style" I could name it "Spec1" or something like that.

I guess the problem is just that the next time I want to make a template, say for pants or shirts, I will have to set up all these named ranges again because there may be 25 different options under Variation Parent instead of the 5 that are currently there.
