Ok, i hope the title isn't too long or wrong
Here's the problem, i need to copy and paste 4 columns from 1 sheet to a new sheet. Column A from old sheet to column B of new sheet, column B from old sheet to column C of new sheet, column C to E and lastly D to D (yes, i purposly switch the columns)
-This point onwards, all reference will be refering to the new sheet
After that, i'll change the no. format of column C & E from 123.4567 or 12.3456 to 123-45-67 and 12-34-56, starting from row 3. i had came up with this formula
but i don't know how to change it to macro.
Then, i'll delete those rows that has the value of BSTN from column B. Insert 1 row at row 3 and insert 3 rows between the 2 rows that got the same value of column B. And i'll have 4 sets of data. (if i insert 1 row at row 3, it will format the new row with the colour from row 2, anyway to disable that?)
Lastly, I'll key in "#" at A1 & A2, "DB" at every begining of a new set, "DM" for the data and "DE" at the end of every set all at column A and i'll key in "3201" (which i got it from B1) at column B for every DB.
Please see the attached excel for the sample and the incomplete macro that i had came up with bit and pieces from this forum and recording myself.
Thanks for the help
