Create new textfile with command button

The attached workbook has a user form with a command button. The command button opens an existing textfile into Notepad. The textfile is located in the folder defined by the HOME environment variable.

Now, if the textfile does not exist, I would like to:

1. create a new textfile
2. write string variables to it line by line
3. save the textfile
4. open the textfile in Notepad
