    Point-betting sheet

I want to create an excel sheet for a point system betting for the world cup.

I don't mind doing the research for this, but can anyone guide me as to what I should be looking into?

    Here is the scenario:

Contestants submit exact scores for games.

1 point is given for predicting the correct outright outcome (Win/Draw/Win).
1 point is given for predicting the exact score.

2 extra points are rewarded if the outright prediction is unique.
1 point if the outright score was predicted by two people.
0 points if three or more predicted the same outright score.

1 extra point is rewarded if the exact score is unique.
0 points if two or more people predicted the same exact score.

    Summary:
    Predict outright 1-3 points
    Predict exact score 1-2 point

5 points can be possibly earnt per game

    Thanks

    Re: Point-betting sheet

Thanks a lot for your effort and caring, Richard.

I have one question so far; contestant B match 3 got the exact score wrong. He shouldn't get any points for uniqueness. Only correct exact scores are eligible for that.
Moreover, he got 2 points for unique outright. It should be 1 point because A match 3 also predicted a win.

    One last thing.
    What is Prediction_Match_Score?
    What's that code.

    Thanks again.

I hope I'm not taking advantage of your kindness

Never mind that last question about "prediction match score"
    I understood that just now

    Hi,

    Is the attached any better?

If not add some extra columns to show what result you expect and upload it. It's just a matter of playing around with the IF() and COUNTIF() functions.

I was somewhat confused by what you mean by outright prediction and outright score.

It's better and with some time, I think I can make it perfect.

    Thanks so much.
