Getting a specific value out of a column or array

I have one cell in a report and would like to put the value associated with Event 1 (value = 4) in that cell. I also have another cell that will have the value for Event 2 (value = 8) in that cell. Any suggestions on how to perform that task would be greately appreciated.

This sounds too simple, so I might be missing something.

In the cell you want the value from Event 1, jut enter "=" (without the "s), then point to the the cell with the value you want to copy, then hit the Enter key.
Do the same for the cell you want to copy Event 2 into.

Thanks for the suggestion but unfortunately, I need it to be automated rather than manual.
