Copy Visible cells and paste values only to visible target cells

I have users that copy cells from a source sheet (sometimes hidden columns) and paste to another sheet (different workbooks usually).

Sometimes the destination sheet will contain hidden columns (not necessarily the same hiddden columns configuration as the source).

I would like to have an event in the destination sheet to paste the source visible cells values only to the visible cells in the destination sheet.

So what you see (visible cell values in the source) is what you get (values in visible cells) in the destination sheet.
So as not to corrupt/overwrite destination cell formats & validation, and have source values paste into hidden destination cells.

Any assistance would be appreciated

AFAIK, you can copy visible cells only but you can't paste to visible cells only, i.e. skipping the hidden cells. Paste will always work as one block, starting from the first cell.

I know, but it came up when i looked for a solution

I tried to write this in the reply, but i get this error "You are not allowed to post any kinds of links, images or videos until you post a few times."
i then edited this post, then i worked
i tried to contact "you" through admin at excelforum.com, but the mail came back, could not deliver

I also neede to replace the at sign

You need at least 5 posts before the system will let you post files (for spam purposes)
