    Excel has stopped working?

When I attempt to open a particular file on my notebook, I receive the following message: "Microsoft Excel has stopped working". I can open this file on my desktop and it works fine. Any suggestions? I am using Excel 2010.
    Thank you in advance

Are you using xl2010 on both machines?, try saving the file down to xl97 - 2003 and then see if you are still having trouble on your notebook, if you are then Excel probably need repairing or reinstalling on your notebook.

Thanks Simon. I will try re-installing, although it is only this one file that will not open on my notebook?
