Auto add a cell comment (with today() date) to a highlighted cell.

Hello Everyone,

I come once again, seeking the help of this great community.

I have 4 locations (see attachment) that get picked every day at random and I want to keep track of what date that location is picked. Right now, I'm simply tracking that each location is done at least twice per the calendar year; by highlighting each cell manually. I'm still very green when it comes to Excel, but, I was wondering if the following can be accomplished, if so, can you help me?

Is there a way to automatically tag a cell with a comment, when I highlight it, that has the day's date ( today() )? It will be chosen at a minimum 2 times and max 4 times per year

My current method works well enough, but, it does have a downside. This would eliminate that and make my historical records easier to maintain.

Thanks for the reply bakerman2. I tried it and it works!

Can it be set up in a way that it can contain multiple dates, in the comment field? I changed my system date to the 13th, to see if it would be saved both the 12th and the 13th, but the 12th was overwritten with the 13th. I want to be able to track every day it is picked.
