Cell fill colour based on chosen cell data validation value

Hi, I am looking for macro that fills selected cell with a colour based on a chosen value from a cell with data validation=list.

Amount of values is only 5.

Have you tried a search of this forum for "more than three conditional formats" ?? There are plenty of examples of how to do this in Excel 2003.

Teylyn, sorry was not complete. I know conditional formatting.

In this case fill colouring is part of a cell range selected by the user and that cell range is merged and populated based on other values. Only from one value I want to have the result as fill colour, not as value in the cell range.
