Charts driven by code are not governed by code nor impacted by it?

I attached an example file. The VB formatting should lock all three charts down and not allow manual interaction with them. This seems to only happen with the center chart.

Additionally, only the center chart is being updated by the code. It should work like this: whenever a time point is entered into one of the fields, the cell is conditionally formatted to change the text color to either red, yellow or green. The corresponding pie slice within one of the charts should then reflect that font color once the cell has been exited.

Again this is only working for me with the center chart. Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.

Only the middle chart has the locked property enabled, which will come into effect when protection is applied.

With the sheet unprotected select a chart. On the chart tools > Format > Size group click the dialog launcher (bottom right arrow in group).
On the Properties tab set the locked property

Thank you Mr. Pope, that has fixed problem with the charts not being locked down.

The second problem I outlined above is still a problem though. Any ideas as to why the charts are not updating? Again the left and right charts are the problem ones, the center chart is updating fine.

Thanks again for your help, and for any more help you might provide with the other problem.

It's hard to say as the file you posted has data linked to the orignal file on your pc/server.

Actually, I just figured it out!

I looked in the chart Selection Pane and noticed that there were actually 5 charts (2 were hidden), not 3. I deleted the extra two and now everything is working perfectly.

Thanks again for your time and help sir.
