Re: Export to excel from Web page

Hi Velmurugan, welcome to the forum.

Rather than trying to code how to export data from a website to Excel, I'd recommend using Excel's built-in Web Query functionality to pull the data from the table (import, not export). The web query in Excel 2007 is on the Data tab (choose "From Web"). Insert the URL of the webpage of data, select the arrow next to the table you want to import and pick the cell where you want to import the data.

After recording these steps as a macro this is the result:

Re: Export to excel from Web page

    Hi Paul,

    Thanks for the quick reply.....

in my case, The webpage contains multiple pages for the single table. i can read the table via coding by pressing next button from the page. and it is taking more time when the number of records goes beyond 10000.

ther one option in the same page by which we can download the whole data in excel format. when i press the 'Export to Excel' Button the normal downloading procedure starts.

I just want to control the downloading widows to make it faster....

    Thanks anyways...
