hello,
can you please explain why the "after" sheet cells are highlighted? Are there any rules? If so, can you tell us in simple words?
cheers,
hi,
pink color is Conditional Foramting
grey is just a "copy" of the ceels from conditional formating, 3th column. I need to move results of the conditional formating to the top left corner table.
the bottom table, the one that has been formated in pink, is just a combine table made from 2 other worksheets (not included in the file enclosed - but it is not important for this theme) + the table from the top left corner. I just need to highlight the "ref&col" that has been used in two other workshhets.

No, it's not. The values in column A have 6 digits. The values in F13:F22 have eight digits.grey is just a "copy" of the ceels from conditional formating, 3th column
Please explain what you want to do. I can't look inside your head.

Dear Marcol,
you are very close. what I need now, is a macro that will automatically "paint" cells A2-B11. cells to be painted have to be selected basing on conditional formating (pink cells) from cells F13-F22.
pls work on worksheet "before". worksheet "after" is just to show you the final result I would like to achieve. many thanks

I have coloured your table in your "before" sheet yellow to better demonstrate the result of the macro, run the macro on this sheet as a test.
How and when do you want to trigger the macro?
dear Marcol,
this works perfectly)
MANY THANKS
