who accessed \ modified my file?
I have created several excel files to monitor values and compare them to past values. Today it appears several files were modified without notifying me of the changes. Is there a function in excel to log users who access the file or email me when a particular file is being modified?
No, you need to use a VBA routine, however this would only work if the user enables macros.

You could set the workbook up with Track Changes, if you don't want anyone to change it, you could protect it with a password.
