    Exclamation A list of numbers increased by one.

    Hi there.

    I have been searching everywhere for help on this topic. Please, if anyone has any insight, I would greatly appreciate it.

    I would like to save time by having a list of numbers increase by one, but not change ALL of the number.

    eg)
    ME2029001 down the column with every number up to ME2029400.

    What is the formula for this?

    If the text is always of the form letter-letter-numbers, then

    =LEFT(A1, 2) & RIGHT(A1, LEN(A1)-2)+1

    You won't need a formula.

    Put ME2029001 in A1
    Pulll the autofill cross in the rightdowncorner to A400 and you are ready.
