Using objects or drawings in Excel

I have a large drawing (object, not linked) overlaid on sheet1 of a workbook. On that drawing I have several blank areas I wish to place data.
Is there a way to use specific areas of a drawing to do this?
    See attached image.

I'd have said General was more appropriate?

You could insert text boxes for your data fields and group them with your drawing. The text boxes can then be linked to spreadsheet cells that contain the formulas for your data.
