    Missing Data Points

    Hi,

I have 2 sets of data. Both sets have been taken over the same time period however there are missing timepoints in both sets of data.

I would like to combine the 2 sets of data to plot 1 graph.

How do I align the timepoints without filling in the missing points manually?

    10/7/2010 13:46 24 24 10/7/2010 13:47 16.1
    10/7/2010 13:56 24 24.1 10/7/2010 13:57 16.6
    10/7/2010 14:01 24 24.1 10/7/2010 14:07 16.8
    10/7/2010 14:06 24 24.2 10/7/2010 14:17 16.3
    10/7/2010 14:11 24.2 10/7/2010 14:27 16.5
    10/7/2010 14:16 24.1 24.2 10/7/2010 14:37 16.7
    10/7/2010 14:21 24.1 24.2 10/7/2010 14:47 15.9
    10/7/2010 14:26 24.2 10/7/2010 14:57 16.3
    10/7/2010 14:31 24.2 24.3 10/7/2010 15:07 16.8

    Many thanks

    Hello,

plot the two series in an XY Scatter chart, then the X values will be placed in their chronological position on the X axis.

Thanks, but this still requires me to fill in the missing time points to align the data. I need to align the data before plotting the graph?

    Re: Missing Data Points

I don't understand. In a scatter chart, the data points will be organised in chronological order. See attached.

Maybe I don't understand the issue completely. Please post your data as an Excel file and create the chart you would like as an output, so I can see what you are after.
