    hyperlink to Autofilter

    On one sheet, i have
    mgr_name cnt_passed cnt_failed
    mgr1 _________101 _______ 11
    mgr2 _________ 202 _______ 22

I want each mgr name to be a hyperlink that will show the detailed list of tickets. However, I want to keep all tickets on one sheet (named details) because we have hundreds of mgrs. So how do I make the hyperlink, autofilter the other sheet?

This needs to be simple once completed so that a mgr who knows nothing can just click his name and see the data for his group.

    Thanks a bunch

How are the Manager hyperlinks created ?

If they are not the result of HYPERLINK function you can look to utilise the FollowHyperlink Event to apply the requisite filtering.

If needed post a sample file.

The sample watersev posted is fine. However, when you click the hyperlink, it should filter the data on the other sheet to show only that mgrs' lines. I can create the hyperlink whatever way is needed. It is not created yet. I'm not familiar with "hyperlink event" I'll google it now.

I looked up followhyperlink but I don't know how to use it. I'm very new to macros and VB.

To be honest it's hard for people to understand what you need - as implied the earlier sample from watersev does as you requested - if you can not apply the same to your file we need to see it.
