Using Index & Small to return multiple values

I am looking for a formula to return values from cells in a range if the lookup_value is >= one number and <= another number. The lookup_number will fall between these criteria a few times.

I've seen Index and Small used, but only where one criteria is used.

I have attached a file with a sample, it should make my question clear.

    Thx

First things first to avoid unnecessary calculations you should establish how many Areas comply.

Using your sample file - I would put this number in Column B and Areas in Columns C onwards so:

If the Area # are always unique there are other methods but not really any more efficient than the above.

(use of SUMPRODUCT assumes version of XL prior to XL2007 - in latter versions COUNTIFS should be used)
