Copy filtered rows to Microsoft Word

I am trying to copy filtered rows to Microsoft word and needed some help.

Here is the code I have so far:

Please Login or Register to view this content.

What I am trying to do is:

1.) Only copy columns C thru E for all the filtered results
2.) The form is active so I cannot send to a new workbook, so I was trying to create in Word or possibly a text document, I won't be saving the document, just need to view why the form is still showing

    thanks for any help,

    Josh

Could you approach from the Word end of things and mail merge with your spreadsheet as the marge data source? Apply the appropriate filtering in Word?

If you continue the macro route, take care about the number of instance of Word you might have opened programmatically and not succeeded in killing off when your macro has finished with them. This may be a particular issue when testing your macros. Some that do not complete may have opened instances of Word, if nothing else.

Re: Copy filtered rows to Microsoft Word

    thanks for the response David.

What I am trying to do is having a shortcut way to read the notes on an account. I currently use a form to read the notes but some notes are longer than others and not enough form unless using scroll bar and that takes more time to read something.

So what I was wanting to do is just use word or a txt file to send over the notes so they can be easily read, line after line, then just close the program (word or txt) without saving....

    thanks,

    Josh

I can't 'believe' that a form (userfom) would contain too little space to see a 'note'.
Do you mean by 'note': text in a cell ? , a comment in a cell ?
Give us an example sheet so we won't have to guess what you mean.

Here is a screen shot of the form I am using...

It is a pain to have to add a scroll bar to view the comments that extend beyond the screen, would be very hellpful to print to word or txt document

    thanks,

    Josh
