Using Colored Cells to Highlight Cells Requiring Data

I am wanting to format a form in Excel that will have a colored background in a cell that needs to be be filled in and once the data has been entered the background color will disappear.

Can this be done in Excel and if so would someone please explain to me how to achieve it.

    Thanks in advance

    Curtis

    Hello Curtis,

You could use Conditional Formatting in the cells that will be filled in.
    Sincerely,
