Help with creating a stoplight summary.

I have a spreadsheet that list the software versions for a number of my websites. I would like to create a stoplight summary so that I can quickly identify which items need to be updated or are running with the latest release version.

I have attached a screenshot of the current spreadsheet. I used conditional formatting to change the background color to red if less than the current version, yellow if greater, green if equal to the current release and no color if left blank.

On a separate page I have a summary page that shows the number of sites for each type of website, I would like to have next to the list a count of the number of Green, Yellow, and Red as such that if it has any red it can not be counted as Green and Yellow does not effect the count. I have attached a screenshot of the conceptual summary screen as well.

Can anyone point me in a direction to get me started on this?

    * Added note: I am using Office 2010

Hi and welcome to the board
To best describe or illustrate your problem you would be better off attaching a dummy workbook (and not images), the workbook should contain the same structure and some dummy data of the same type as the type you have in your real workbook - so, if a cell contains numbers & letters in this format abc-123 then that should be reflected in the dummy workbook.

If needed supply a before and after sheet in the workbook so the person helping you can see what you are trying to achieve.

Doing this will ensure you get the result you need!
