Let's say I have two seperate instances of Excel open. Is it possible to use VBA in the one instance, have it copy/paste over to an open workbook in the other instance?
If so, how?

Why have two instances open?
Hope that helps.

Dual screen monitor, can only have spreadsheets on both if there's two instances. Or is there a way to open two workbooks from the same instance and move one to the other screen? I didn't think that was possible.
You can spread the single instance across both monitors, and arrange windows to have one workbook on each side. I do it frequently.

I'm not quite sure how to do what your saying. When I open Excel, it opens in the one window. Any worksheet I try to drag to the other screen stops at the edge of the screen and won't go past the first instance. The only way it lets me move Excel between my monitors is by Restore and dragging the entire instance into the other monitor.
How would I go about setting it up to do what yours does?

Restore (unmaximize) the window, and drag an edge across the monitor boundary. Resize to fill both monitors(or as their varying resolutions permit).
Windows > Arrange
