Find sheet names in other workbook

    Good day...
Does anybody know if there's a function similar to VLOOKUP which can return the sheetname, instead of a column value?

Or perhaps you may have a better way to do this...
I have a spreadsheet comprised of approximately 200,000 rows. Each of those rows comes from one of 3 sheets in another workbook. Basically, I need to know which sheet each line is from... and for some reason, "MATCH" isn't working. Perhaps because of the way the data on the host sheet is organized, but I'm not entirely certain.
In any event, does anybody know of a function or process I can use to grab the sheet name from the second sheet (the host sheet) for each line item in the first sheet?

    Thanks for any help!

I can only presume that the values are Constants rather than formulae else you could inspect the formula itself.

Assuming they are constants I think you're saying you want to try and match against all three sheets and return sheet in which item is found, correct ?(assumes only 1 sheet will match in file)

    If so, in pseudo-terms:

is that along the lines of what you were thinking ?
