I've saved a macro to my personal workbook, but cannot see it on document extracted from a database.
If I open a blank excel document I can see it every time, just not on the excel documents I extract from the database?

How do you extract from the database? If the database actually starts Excel via automation, then no startup files will be loaded by default.

I think it may extract to a template? Would an Add-in work?
No, I don't think so, because the add-in wouldn't get loaded either, for the same reason.
Crap. Thanks for the help, don't think there's anything i can do!
You'll either need to load Personal.xls yourself or simply close and restart Excel then open the extracted file.
maybe I didn't explain myself correctly, because an add-in seems to have done the trick, Thanks for the words of advice anyway!
