Select entire column for max function

    Hi there,

I have a series of integer values in a given column (AJ), and I would like the macro to find the maximum value:

    However, this gives an error:
Compile Error: Expected: list seperator or )

If I put the range in quotes, I don't get the error, but I don't get a result either:

    No message box appears.

If it was in Excel proper, I would simply do MAX(AJ:AJ), but the equivalent doesn't seem to work.

    What am I missing, please?

    Thanks!
    Bruce.
