macro to extract data from files to another worksheet.

I need some help please with a macro if anybody can help. I don’t know where to start with this so any help would be greatly appreciated.

What I want to do is produce work schedules for everyday and every day of work.

So as there are 8 different types of work:-

    LPI
    Con
    PNF
    LIST
    Rostered Off
No Work For What Ever Reason
    Unsures
    Annual Leave

For each day of the week there should be 8 different work schedules.

I would like the macro to run from the allocation template file.

By the press of the update list button, I want the macro to find a worksheet in the file - f drive , my documents, list.

I then want it to update all the contents of the list worksheet.

So as allocation template has information on it, I want this extracted to the list worksheet.

The macro will match the day of the week
Then match the type of work
    Find the next available line
If this above criteria is satisfied
    Then update the list worksheet
With the name of the agent and their team leader

All this information is held on the allocation template worksheets.

I have attached two different allocation templates, 1 and 2 . And have populated day of the week = Mon, type of work = Con.

I wish at the push of the button to extract all the information from both allocation templates to the list for every tab and type of work.

I hope somebody can help me with this and if anybody has any question where I haven’t explained things properly please ask, as any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
