    Popup text for object

I am using Excel 2003. I would really appreciate your help and knowledge if you could tell how to create a popup text box for an object in Excel. This pop up will close when you click another object or cell in the spreadsheet.
    Thanks

    Hi leem,
What do you have in mind for initiating the message box, and what should the message say?

or....do you want a simple flyout comment box so that when you hover your mouse over the cell, you see the comment box?

Not wanting a comment box. I have attached a sample back with the object on a map and a box with sample text.
    Thanks

Is it OK to use VBA for this?

If so, it can be done fairly easy. You can assign a macro to show a userform with the information that you requested for each circle on your map.

Sure if you lead me. I will be doing this for a total of 80 objects. These will be on a map which represents our service locations. Thanks a bunch.

Enable Macros, Click on any of the circles in Va map.

Ask any questions about the how to part, if you don't see how it was done.

To see the macros/code, Alt+F11 opens the VBA editor window...in there you can create the userforms, and add the code. Right click on your circle lables and assign a macro to make the appropriate userform show when clicked.

Here is another option, but the text formatting is kind of funky and very limited....
