    Question Help with merging data from one sheet to several

    Hi I am hoping someone can help me with this I am using office 2010

    I have a sales workbook wich contains date, invoice no, customer, gross, vat, net, payment

    I then have several spredsheets with invoice templates for each customer
    the colum names are the same I currently list all blanks under payment for a customer I get a list of outstanding amounts I copy and paste these into the invoice template and then print them off. This has become a labourious task is there someway I can merge the data from the sales workbook into the diffrent invoice templates and have them print.

    I can code in vb.net and I am familure with Access if either of these programs will help me on my quest anyone have any suggestions, links etc

    Welcome to the forum
    It sounds as though you can accomplish what you want to do within Excel OK
    Yoo really need to post a sample workbook and as detailed description of your requirement as you can for members to be able to help

    Hi Barry thanks for the reply I have attached a template for the invoice hewden hire.xls and sales boos.xls, In the salesbook I use the filter for customer name and payment set to blank the copy and past the results into the template then print and move on to the next customer it was great when I had like 20 customers now I have over 300 its getting a little laborious :-(

    I was looking to build somthing in VB.NET I thought if I can work out how do it in Excell first then try and build on that I hope this all makes sence
