    Hi,

Have you looked at Conditional Formatting which I suspect will give you exactly what you want.

    Hi,
You can click on any cell and change the color of the text by using the toolbar. Also see if you can right click on the cell and get an option to change the font color from the dropdown.

You haven't given us any rules for changing the color of font characters.

Here is the site you should read
    http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/condfmt.htm
I hope the date in your row is in a cell by its self. If it is then the above link should do it for you.

    Re: Change text color

    Hi,

But what is the trigger? You say after your next meeting but how is Excel to know what that means. Is that a date? You will need to make an entry in some cell in order to tell Excel that you have had a meeting.

Then once you've made an entry, how does the text you show relate to that entry. For instance is the 03/16 significant. Is this shorthand for a date perhaps?

You need to work out the rules and then you will have the ability to use conditional formatting.

    Regards
