Import Pipe Delimited files using Excel 2003

Having trouble importing pipe delimited files. I just need a VBA import routine that prompts the user to select a file then sends the file to the current active sheet. In this case the selected range would be cell "A1". I'm not an advanced VBA programmer but any advice would be helpful. Thanks.

It may be simpler to replace all pipelines by the fielddelimiter of your international settings (comma or semicolon).
After that you can simply open the file in Excel.
