Sum the values in ROW for a distinct value in an another cell

I have sheet daily timesheet to be filled like below:

Names | Task name | Date | Hrs. Activity1 | Hrs.Activity2 | Hrs.Activity3 | Status | Total Hrs |

since its an daily time sheet.
the data will be...
ex:

name1| Task 1 | 4-Apr | 3 | 2 | 3 | inprogress | 8 |
name2| Task 2 | 4-Apr | 6 | 2 | 0 | Completed | 8 |
name3| Task 1 | 4-Apr | 8 | 0 | 0 | inprogress | 8 |
name1| Task 1 | 5-Apr | 6 | 0 | 1 | inprogress | 7 |
name2| Task 3 | 5-Apr | 3 | 2 | 3 | inprogress | 8 |
name1| Task 1 | 6-Apr | 3 | 2 | 3 | Completed | 8 |
name1| Task 2 | 7-Apr | 3 | 2 | 3 | inprogress | 8 |
name2| Task 3 | 7-Apr | 3 | 2 | 3 | Completed | 8 |

i am looking for a report which gives

1. Completed Task and its total time taken so far.
2. Task status based on names and time taken by each person.

See the attached Pivot Table to see if it does what you need. There are many ways to arrange the columns and rows and sums using Pivots. I'm not sure which way gives you the best view of your data but here is a possibility.
