Macro to edit active chart on active worksheet

First post on this site, so hopefully I'm doing it correctly

I have found this once online but have tried many times since and can't find it anymore.

I record a macro in 2007 to format a chart. When I go to a new worksheet in the same work book and run the macro it will revert back to the original worksheet and reformat the chart again.

How do I make the macro work for what ever chart I am currently selecting?

    Hello,

Your profile states that you are using 2003. In your question you mention 2007. Which is it? There's a world of difference, so please make sure that this basic info is correct and adjust your profile, if required.

The macro recorder in 2007 is less than useful when it comes to recording chart related code. Can you post a workbook with a few sample sheets/charts and your code and then explain what you want to achieve?

    cheers,
