Smile Pausing Code to Trigger Other Events

    Well, I don't want much.

I am running a program that takes a while and the user interface is a graph nested in a tab object. I want to be able to click on the down arrow to reduce the magnification of this chart and the up arrow key to magnify it so that the fine detail can be more effectively viewed.
I would assume this this function or command would temporarily pause the code so that this subroutine could be triggered. I know you can do just about anything with Excel, particularly with the expertise we have in this forum, but I may be asking too much here.

Excel can't take user input while code is running (except in certain specific cases, such as use of an inputbox). If that is what you are looking for, it is not possible.
Is your code running too slowly?
Does your workbook or database have a bunch of duplicate pieces of data?
Have a look at this article to learn the best ways to set up your projects.
It will save both time and effort in the long run!
