Conversion of days into numbers and adding extra columns

Hello everybody,

I have an excel sheet which has the availability of surgeons in days....For example

Surgeon 1 - M (Monday)
Surgeon 2 - T (Tuesday)

I also have the total number of timeslots and days.

I need to convert those into numbers based on the given data. I have attached the given data in sheet1 and the required format in sheet2. Please someone help me to convert them.
