    Auto Save as .xlsm

I have been searching the forum for a while looking to set up an autosave in a program I'm setting up. I have found many timer saves, but as the users should not be in the program for more than 10 or 15 min, that is not necessary. I just need an autosave code that saves the program as an account name & date before starting and ending. And I need to assign the file path to a server. The account name and date are entered in the first userform, and saved to a cell location within a worksheet.

This program is designed to input inspection data for various accounts. One account per file saved.

I would like to save the document as a new file after the user enters those fields. This in order to always have a blank program on hand to perform a new inspection. And the file will need to be able to be pulled up again later and have macros enabled.

I am using excel 2007 VBA, and the users will only see userforms, followed by an automatically generated report.

    Thank you kindly in advance.

Try out the macro recorder, then come back with a code to clean up.
